WORKING BEE + LUNCH – in l’Anson Reserve – 21 NOV 2019
On Thursday, 21 November, we will be holding the last weeding bee for the year in l’Anson Reserve. It will be followed by a picnic in the park which will be supplied by Rob Fraser from the QEII National Trust, who own and manage the reserve. As usual, we start at 9.30 am and finish at 11.30 am, when we will gather for a picnic lunch by the lake.
For new people: l’Anson reserve is situated in Te Puna between SH2, Loop Road and Armstrong Road. Please meet us at the car park off Loop Road, off SH2. Bring suitable footwear, gloves, hat, sunblock, drink, food etc. Garden tools are available, but you can bring your own favourite tools if you like. You may want to bring an outdoor chair or picnic blanket, everything else for the picnic will be supplied.
Your RSVP is important, asap please, so we can cater for everyone. Please let me know if you prefer vegetarian and/or gluten free options.
