Hi everyone, As you will know the Omokoroa Coastal Challenge fundraising event is on this Sunday 29th October between 8.30am- midday. We have had a HUGE number of registrations which we have had to shut off at 430!!!!! (We had 240 last year!) This means that there will be approximately 300 people walking, running and cycling around the penninsula so we would like to ask everyone to be mindful when driving in and out of their driveways and on the roads. The participants are told to observe the road rules at all times but we also ask that drivers be aware. We have over 50 cyclists taking part in a duathlon – some who will be very competitive and going fast. The cycle route involves Omokoroa Road, Tralee, Hamurana, McDonnell, Vivian, Harbour View and Kaylene Place. Walkers and runner will be on footpaths and walkways. The event is Marshalled and most road crossings will have a Marshall to help direct participants.
We thank you for your support of our event,
The RunOmok Events Team
