Thank you for your email dated 23 March enquiring about the plans Western Bay of Plenty District Council has for a rates funded kerbside collection.
Council adopted its Waste Minimisation Management Plan (WMMP) in December 2017. One of the actions of the plan is to look at a rates funded kerbside rubbish and recycling collection. I’ve included a link to the decision story as well as a link to the WMMP for your information:

- Katikati – Saturday, 14 April – 10am – 12pm
- Te Puke – Sunday, 15 April – 10am – 12pm
- Council Chambers – Thursday – 19 April, 5pm – 7pm
- Omokoroa – Saturday, 21 April – 10am – 12pm
- Waihi Beach – Saturday, 28 April – 10am – 12pm.
Consultation opened on Friday, 23 March. All feedback must be received by 4pm Friday, 4 May.
