I am French and I moved to NZ since last August. I would like to meet people! I tell myself that cooking is a beautiful moment of sharing!
That’s why, I would like to share a bit of French heritage: its cuisine!
I studied the catering industry. I love cooking for my family and friends and will be happy to introduce you. I can also speak french ! A great way to take language classes!
We will go shopping together. We will buy the necessary ingredients for the chosen recipe. Thus, you will become autonomous and will be able to choose the traditional French ingredients.
Back home, we will start cooking. I will give you the list of the necessary utensils. I can also provide some utensils.
You can choose 3 dishes from the following 3 categories:
Appetizers : quiche lorraine, mimosa egg, Provençal pie, niçoise salad, cheese soufflé, tuna bread, toast “fraicheur”.
The dishes: “pot au feu”, “carrot beef”, “veal stew”, “rabbit with mustard”, “filet mignon au bleu”, “croque madame”, “stuffed tomatoes”, “gratin de courgettes”
Desserts : far breton, tarte “tatin”, meringue, pancakes, lollipop waffle, french toast, yogurt cake, cherry clafoutis, fruit sabayon, madeleine, “crotte de rennes”
The dishes are fast, simple and greedy! They will be to take away or to eat on the spot. The cooking workshop takes place in your home ant it is for 3 people maximum and lasts a morning.
You will only have to impress your guests!
