Damage to cars around Kaharoa ave 18.01.2020

January 23, 2020

Posted by Patricia Wilkinson

Hello ‘Neighbours’,
The following is a message I received from a Neighbour and felt we all need to be aware and vigilant.

“During December my daughter told my husband that somebody had keyed her car – all along the length of the car. She didn’t know where it happened. She usually parks her car in Hamurana road.
Yesterday, my husband used our Toyota starlet for work – this is parked in Kaharoa Avenue next to our driveway. He saw that the car has been keyed quite extensively – very, very deep marks on the body and even the window. And it has been kicked and knee’d.”

These incidents have been reported to the Police. The damage was done to the drivers side of the vehicles and appear to have been done during the night.
Any one else had their vehicle ‘keyed’ in recent months?
