Does anyone have a winch we could borrow briefly (say a half hour) next weekend? We have a rock to move 3-4 meters across almost flat ground but with just enough incline that 2 of us can’t roll it. We’re located in Omokoroa.

Old carpet

Looking for someone to do a Lamb on a Spit for a function
I am wondering someone can please assist us. Our son is getting married at our home in Omokoroa on 10 October. He is wanting a lamb to be cooked on a spit. We are having trouble getting someone with experience on preparing and cooking on a spit to take on this task and wondering if you anyone can please help us here please. Obviously it is a paid job, and would require the person to carve up the lamb and also a ham we are having. So also someone who can carve correctly. Wanting some Stachys – Lambs Ear – cuttings or stems
I would like 4 pieces +/- of the Stachys plant – Lambs Ear – the stems are generally have dry aerial roots along the length of the stem. If you have a good sized mother plant you wouldn’t mind me taking 4 stems from I would very much appreciate it. Payment in whatever form you deem correct.
Volunteer for food deliveries
“In This Together Omokoroa Peninsular” are a group of volunteers that have come together to help deliver pharmaceuticals and groceries to members of the community that fall into the following category:
- 70+ and would rather not going to the supermarket
- People recently returning from overseas and in quarantine
- People with underlying health issues.
- If you are feeling isolated or scared and need someone to talk to we can arrange that too.
